REWILDING ARGENTINA

Through Rewilding Argentina, we support the conservation and restoration of Patagonia National Park. The goal of Rewilding Argentina is to protect and restore the breathtaking nature of Argentina. They do this, among other things, by acquiring and protecting hectares of land, ensuring the reintroduction of various animal species, supporting local communities in their interaction with the animals, and promoting ecotourism. In this way, conservation and restoration revolve around the creation of a sustainable ecosystem where humans and nature live together in balance.

The organisation is active in various regions with different projects. ‘Restoring the Patagonia Oasis’ is one such project. Patagonia, with its unique ecosystems, is under pressure from climate change and human activities. Any help is therefore welcome and essential for the preservation and restoration of this region. Supporting local communities is also crucial in this process. This includes education and awareness to inform local residents and visitors about the importance of nature conservation and sustainability, as well as the sustainable economic opportunities it brings, such as ecotourism. This helps the community progress without harming the environment, making tourism a means of further conservation and restoration.
